There are many different types of services available to you. I have over 25yrs experience in various counselling and restorative techniques. If you would like to call me, we can discuss how I can help you.

I am also a qualified family therapist, offering family members who experience the trauma of addiction a way forward, helping them to access coping strategies to focus on their own lives.

I provide a wonderful safe space to come and have a chat, where we can discuss anything that may be troubling you. My therapy room is located in Bristol, which is easy to get to. Alternatively, you may prefer an online Skype session.

  • A visit to my Therapy Room for a private One on One session. Each Session lasting 1hr £40
  • For Online Skype Sessions. With video or just voice if you prefer. Each Session lasting 1hr £40

Beneficial Hypnotherapy

To aid and support the subconscious mind to make changes in addictions and various negative or damaging behaviours. Hypnotherapy is thought to work by altering our state of consciousness in such a way that the analytical left hand side of our brain is turned off for a while, to allow the creative and intuitive right hand side to become more alert and aware. This allows new ideals and beneficial behavioural patterns to be planted gently, like seeds into the subconscious.

Hypnosis has been proven to help with many forms of addiction, obsessive compulsive behaviours, depression and anxiety. This helps to form new and positive habits to bring about lifestyle changes.     Working in the field of solution based therapy and 12 step recovery for over 20 years, I have helped many hundreds of people to regain control and direction of their lives, to discover a higher purpose and to find inner peace.  Having been through my own journey with drugs and alcohol, I have been in recovery for 27 years.  After discovering a more powerful and meaningful way to live my life, I am dedicated to supporting others to escape the madness of active addiction and all the consequences associated.
  • Emotional / Stress / Depression / Self Harm / Behavioural Therapy / CBT / EFT:
    Stress and anxiety is the 21st century plague with over 40% of the population experiencing a feeling of being overwhelmed and ill equipped to cope with the demands of modern living.  My approach offers an opportunity to explore a variety of options which include meditation, recognition of each individuals situation, and coping skills to enable people to cope successfully with their own lives, and to develop a sense of self, and purpose.
  • Eating Disorders / OCD / Phobias:
    Many people resort to unhealthy and unfulfilling coping strategies to deal with their inner pain, low self worth and sense of inadequacy.  I offer an opportunity through non-judgemental open hearted support to let go of these failed strategies and to develop new, more dynamic and positive coping strategies.
  • Family Therapy:
    For 18 years, I was in charge of the Family Therapy Program for one of Europe most prestigious drug and alcohol centres, where I facilitated many hundreds of workshops and retreats specifically exploring the pain and suffering experienced by families affected by other people’s drug, alcohol, gambling and behaviours.
  • Mediation Between Couples:
    Sometimes in a relationship, where both parties feel unheard, aggrieved and disrespected, the opportunity to bring in an impartial, non-judgemental third party can help to shine a new light on the unseen shadows clouding that relationship.     New insights and awareness of each others needs and boundaries can restore and empower a relationship to move forward.
  • Trauma & Grief Therapy:
    Many people have experiences that in a perfect world would not have happened.  Physical, mental, emotional and sexual abuse, war, severe illness, violence can all leave a deep emotional wound which remains live until it is recognised, owned, shared, brought out into the open and given the space and compassion to heal and transform.  We cannot change the past, but we can change our relationship to the past.
  • Bereavement Counselling:
    One of the greatest challenges life presents us with is when we lose a loved one.  In this more devastating of circumstances, people often find themselves paralysed with grief, lost and confused, desperately trying to present a brave face/stiff upper lip to the outside world, terrified of being honest of the depth of their feelings, in order to protect others from the supposed added burden.  Having a safe space to fully express and share the depth of the feelings in a non-judgemental supportive environment can offer strategies and coping skills to find a solid foundation on which to begin the process of rebuilding ones own life, whilst not diminishing the love and depth of feeling for the individual who has passed.
